Had to hug my dad goodbye, He has to stay behind for after storm clean-up.He will be the one removing trees off power lines and such.I hate leaving him behind,I'm trying real hard not to cry.

We're in Mississippi, how we got here is a mystery lol. Every turn we want to make a cop is directing us the opposite way, seems like we're driving blind. Santa will be buying me a GPS system for Christmas

a three hour trip took all effing day, but we're here finally. It's nice being out of the car, but I wanna go home
I think it's the uncertain of it all that has put me in this bad mood. I can't wait for tomorrow to be over. No cell phone service, so I'm out of contact with loved ones

Army wives just came on, but I'm going to bed to sleep off this bad mood. I hate my dad isn't here. I hate my mom is here. I hate over peppered corn. I hate the smell of gym shoes.
But I will think positive tomorrow I will eat Diary Queen . I will get cell phone service. I will find another plastic fork.

Good Morning!!! I'm watching the weather channel the storm seems like it's hitting. Jim Cantore is in Houma. I'm a little worried, my town is so small it won't have any news coverage.

I'm outside smoking, The pine trees are swaying, like only pine trees can. It's like a little old couple doing a dance they've done for ages. It's poetic,beautiful. The damage a pine could do if it snaps doing this dance is a little frightening, but spellbinding at the same time.

My younger cousin came by we spoke before I left about my blogging and my search for plastic forks. She bought me a plastic fork, and asked if she could have a copy of my blogs and a interview for an extra credit project.

It's still raining here so we're stuck inside. I spoke to my grandma still no word from my dad which is to be expected I'm ready to stick a plastic fork in my eye for entertainment. Ally is being super hyper. My mom is being super bitchy. my loving Husband is being super annoying. i just wanna run away.

Now 30 mins ago I was in bed reading , ally is asleep with my mom , Daniel slides into bed start kissing me went to take my shirt off I smiled sweetly and told him:but honey you're not home yet"

Finally got word from home. Some major damage down my road a big limb went through my mom's trailer, the wind blew part of one of my cousins roof off. So far no real damage to my place one tree down gazebo flew away my dad is riding around looking at everything dumbass. Wonder how my friends are.
we're heading back tomorrow to help with the cleanup fun times.

Super Hyper Ally just played in mud puddles, and found a dog she named sparkles . no way in hell are we bringing this dog home, no matter what Daniel says. I really need to have my eye brows done, maybe on the way home.

must have packed my other notebook in the suitcase We are still in bama kissing kin folks and all. We stopped at walmart to pick up supplies in Saraland. Pulling into the parking lot we see a lady having a seizure. What came after is a blur, but I remember me , and my mom jumping out of the van mid-stopping I called 911 and for anyone who have never called 911 before they ask stupid questions.

me- I'm at walmart in saraland a woman is having a seizure in the parking

me- Um I dont know the address
911- Well mam how can we send help without the address
me- Saraland only has one walmart send help there

me- no I can not she is in the middle of a seizure

me- (I'm fed up by now , while talking to this lady on the phone i've had to stop 3 cars from hitting her and my mom) she's 34 and a half her name is jenny and she needs a fucking ambulance

her husband came out of the store at the police was pulling in after they loaded "jenny"into the ambulance he asked what he could do to thank us .....my mom asked for a plastic fork lol

Intersate is getting a lil crowed and my mom's back is hurting I foresee many pit stops.

We're driving thru Mississippi, billboards are ripped up trees are down , and the closer we get to louisiana the worst it is. The only cars we see has La plates All the faces serious.

now the weeks that followed was different
no lights for a week or so
spent a couple days at the inlaws
on Sept. 5th daniel went back to work
Sept 6th was our 5th anniversay
went about a month without cable phone or internet (not counting the 1 day and 2 hours we did have service lol)
